| Blepharoplasty
(repair of
droopy and baggy eyelids.) |
| Your
eyes are one of the first features people notice. Unfortunately,
they are also one of the first to show signs of aging. Over time,
your eyelids may thin and lose elasticity, causing them to sag. On
the other hand, protruding fat from your eye sockets cause bags - often
the result of aging, but sometimes an inherited trait that shows up
early in life. These changes can make you look tired or sad, when
you are feeling something else altogether. At first, this
sad tired look may be more noticeable in the morning, and then persist
throughout the day, prompting words of concern from friends or
family. In addition to the aesthetic benefits, blepharoplasty can
correct a condition in which sagging skin obscures vision.
Blepharoplasty surgery can be performed
utilizing several techniques. Dr. Fisher uses the most advanced
technique, utilizing high freqeuncy radio waves to gently remove excess
skin and fatty tissues around the eyes. This gentle procedure
minimizes swelling and bruising. Most blepharoplasty surgeries are
performed as an outpatient procedure in our office surgical suite. |

Your eyes are your most expressive
feature. Blepharoplasty can have dramatic effect by restoring a
younger, more rested appearance to your face. After blepharoplasty,
your eyes can express the energy and self-confidence you are truly
feeling.
